Pullmax was a part of the company ESAB in Gothenburg but breaks out and establish its own company. |

The name of the company was changed into Pullmax AB. The logotype of Pullmax is the symbol of the original steel cutting patent used in the earliest plate shears. A total of 50 000 of these machines have been manufactured, most of which are still in use at work today. |

Pullmax started to make NC (Numerical Controlled) controlled machines as one of the first companies in the world. |

The co-ordination with other plate working machines - shears, press brakes, ship building presses, plate rolles and contour rounding machines - started after Pullmax was sold to S Lindmark and H Karinen. |
80's |
Pullmax established sales offices in Austria and France, which now works as after market companies. |

Pullmax Ltd in Leeds was established as its own autonomous company having previously been a division of SMT Pullmax based in London. Pullmax start the cooperation with Bystronic and reaches an agreement to sell their machines in Scandinavia and UK/Ireland. |
1985 |
Pullmax established a sales company in Sundsvall, Sweden. |

Karolin Group acquires Pullmax, they in their turn where sold to the company "Atle" a company in the Stockholm stock exchange. |
1993 |
Pullmax started a sales company in Chicago, USA. |

Atle formed the group "Karolin Machine Tool" and Pullmax became a part of that. |
1997 |
Pullmax started a wholly owned sales company in Svendborg, Denmark. |
1998 |
Pullmax, one of the cornerstones together with Ursviken, Herber and UVA when KMT was introduced on the Stockholm stock exchange. |
1999 |
Nordstjernan AB acquires Atles part of the stocks in KMT. |

Pullmax and Bystronic re-write the long-term agreement. Pullmax also acts as a distributor of Bystronic press breaks in Scandinavia and UK/Ireland. |

Pullmax is launching a new punching machine concept with great capability for forming, bending and tapping in one set-up. |

Pullmax is focusing on its core business, punching and automation. Bystronic aquires Pullmax sales companies in UK and Scandinavia. |

Avalon Plus AB acquires Pullmax from KMT. Pullmax launches a punch/laser combined machine. Torwald Olsson becomes part owner in Pullmax AB. |

Pullmax Ltd opens up with an office in Coventry. |
